Did you know?
This complex world we live in is proof enough that God exists. When we see a worn out, old railway track or buildings that have been abandoned for centuries, we know for a fact, that these did not drop from the sky, that it had to have been the work of human beings. In the same way, we contradict ourselves when we look at The Rainbow Mountains of China within the Zhangye Danxia Landform Geological Park, and say the scientific complexities that cause it to look the way it does, just happened. No traces. Or as a result of an explosion😏. You tell me the paintings below, because it was done on a mountain and science has given us the ‘how’ of it, came together on its own? An artwork is not without its artist.
Whether a person believes in God’s existence or not does not affect or change what already is. We are not capable of believing Him out of existence. So when someone does not believe, that individual only limits their perspective of the world. We see only what we allow ourselves to see. We experience only what we allow ourselves to experience. Our choice to believe is our responsibility and that affects how much of this world especially its impossibilities, we experience. The Bible says, paraphrased, that God has made the wisdom of the world appear foolish (1 Corinthians 1:20). So many things make sense, but not everything that does not make sense to the normal human being is not right. What I can promise is that in the end, all will eventually be revealed. You can hold me to this statement. In other words, believing now does not matter because you will eventually see whether you want to or not. Unfortunately, for some people, it will already be too late.
The world we live in is just like a story. A book. I personally believe it is a story. It is basically a book. The book of life, that is, the story of life, written in volumes. We are all just pages in this book. Characters with our very own back stories and interconnected fates. And just like with every book and every story, there is an author, a beginning, and, an end. Some authors even prefer to remain unknown, but we know without reasonable doubt that an actual human being had to have been involved. In this same light, this world we live in has an author, a beginning, and an end. Some books even have prefaces. The world we live in also has its own preface. We know how we feel about never ending series right…the world we live in has an end. We watch movies that begin an end. We read books that begin an end. Everything we do has a start date and an end date and that does not seem to point to something? God lives. He exists. He is at work, day-in-day-out, and He has always been from the start. The world will end. At least that’s one thing we can agree on with scientists and big bang theorists. The way it will end though…..now that can be debated.
The reality of the world we live in? Let’s just say Avatar: Legend of Korra was on to something. Our physical reality is only a small fraction of the world. It relies heavily on the happenings in the superior realm, the Spirit Realm. God is Spirit. Being made in His image makes us spirit beings too. Humanity lost touch with their spirit-man and the spirit realm at the fall. What is the fall? We’ll touch on that in a series coming up soon. Our spirit man died at the fall. Christianity centers around what God did to restore us to our full nature. Salvation is a rebirth of our spirit man. A lot of occurrences in the physical cannot be explained and will remain a mystery, because we are limited by our physical senses, we do not see the actual happenings in the spirit so we will always remain in the dark. The point of Christianity, in case others have said one thing or the other and you don’t still see it, is to see this world in its full picture, come to the knowledge of the hidden things, and understand fully the essence of life itself. I’m currently reading ‘In Pursuit of Purpose’ by Myles Munroe, with a group of my sisters and it’s not just a Christian book, but a life book. You might want to check it out.
Lastly, for now that is, every artist has something unique to forever tie their work to their person, an example is a signature, be it in music, a painting, books, movies, sculptures etc. God’s signature is written literally in our DNA. Every natural thing has God’s unique signature. Our fingerprints. Our blood work. He can be found in every living thing, organism. Just like how traces of our parents can be found in our person. God is literally our Father because He made us and so traces of Him can be found in us whether we choose to accept it or not. You not acknowledging His existence does not erase any trace of Him in your life. He is in everything, everywhere, and every single human being. That’s the power of free will. If you choose to not see Him, you won’t, not because He is restricted, no, because He will not force Himself on anyone.
Imagine having the power to create and destroy and do just about anything, basically reign with an iron fist, but choose not to. Imagine being able to wipe an entire lineage, an entire people out, an entire world! And He has done a bit of these in the past. We complain that He isn’t doing anything now. We say the world should just end. We say Jesus should come now. But I promise you, you don’t mean it. If you truly reach deep within and be honest with yourself, you will know why He has not come yet, and the world has not ended yet. Are we really ready to stand before our maker?
